The Takasami Collection can be defined as handcrafted and sophisticated. The style is created by a mixture of Mexican culture, tradition and customs as evident in the shapes, colors, designs and materials used in the collection.
The Takasami Collection is incredibly vast which is why we can offer a variety of different styles, not only for the luxurious neo-mexican female, but for today’s woman taste. The styles are formal, casual, sporty and beach wear. Our garments are made of 100% pre-washed cotton, most of which is made in rustic manual looms.
Takasami´s main distinction is the use of “manta” cloths in their natural colors. Fabrics in earth colors such as ocean blue, green of the mountains and the vivid colors of our native plants and flowers are incorporated to distinguish this collection.
All of our garments in the collection are unique because of the amount of hours necessary to manufacture them. Many of the embroideries, designs, hems and cuffs are also handcrafted, making the Takasami collection a greater value than garments which are mass produced and made by machines.
